I kind of like it. Its really quick and easy. The pattern envelope says it very-loose fitting and it is. I cut out a 16, but took in the side seams a lot. Next time I would start with a 12. The armholes are way too low for me (the fabric pulls forward towards the bust). I also took out some of the width in the hips. If the right fabric crosses my path, I will make it again.

Love your tunic and the way you have worn it over black. Very nice. I have this fabric too. Love what you have done with it.
ReplyDeleteI got mine from fabric.com. Its called Viva Hatchi sweater knit. They did have it in other prints, but really, I don't need to be buying more fabric, do I?
DeleteStyling this tunic as you have, over all black, works brilliantly on you! The armhole is deep, but so is Margy's one,it must be a feature of the pattern (that you could easily alter in your next on). Hopefully you will stumble across the 'right-fabric' soon to make another...J
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment. The armhole isn't so low I won't wear the thing, but I will certainly change it next time.
DeleteMa'am- I love this! May I show you off during the last week of Jungle January?
ReplyDeleteJungle January? Sounds like fun!
DeleteBut please, the newer version I posted today, not this one!!!
